Looking to stretch your SNAP or EBT benefits, improve your health, and have some fun? Join JSY Nutrition Educator Sarah for For a free nutrition workshop and recipe demonstration. Each attendee will get to sample the recipe and will receive a free bag of produce and a gift.
This program will also include a health presentation from Dr. Anne-Marie Uebbing with the Desmond Center for Community Engagement and Wellness.
Dr. Uebbing is certified by the American Association of Nurse Credentialing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She practices in the state of New York, and has practiced in internal medicine for the past 20 years. She also provides current clinical practice application to her graduate teaching. Dr.Uebbing participates in international clinical missions and, as a former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, she participates in health-focused initiatives to support volunteers and local projects to improve community health. She is also chair of the American Cancer Association, supporting health legislation to support health providers and patients. Dr.Uebbing has been teaching at Mount Saint Mary School of Nursing since 2009.
