Teen Book Club: National Poetry Month In-Person
Join us to discuss two books of poetry: Hustle by David Thomas Martinez and For Every One by Jason Reynolds.
Copies of Hustle will be provided to everyone who signs up for the discussion, and a hold will be placed on a library copy of For Everyone. Registration required, for students in grades 8-12.
This program is a part of our NEA Big Read series. On April 30th, an author visit and Q&A with David Tomas Martinez, author of our Big Read pick Hustle will take place.
An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest, the NEA Big Read broadens our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the power of a shared reading experience. Newburgh is one of 62 communities nationwide participating in the 2024-2025 NEA Big Read.
