Orange County Mastadons In-Person
Orange County Community College Professor Cory Harris, who participated in the excavation of a just discovered complete mastodon jaw near Middletown, will discuss the find in the context of Orange County's standing as the hotbed of mastodon fossil discovery in New York state. Professor Harris will update us on a new dig following his presentation at our Town Branch on May 15th.
