Housing Free From Dangerous and Defective Conditions: Tenants’ Rights and Remedies - Virtual Program In-Person / Online
A comprehensive guide through the rights and remedies that tenants have in the State of New York when an apartment has dangerous and/or defective conditions. Samuel Bergsohn, Esq., staff attorney with Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, will provide the audience with an understanding of the current situation in New York State, Orange County and the City of Newburgh regarding eviction laws, the moratorium and programs that can potentially assist tenants.
