Join us for a lecture from Vassar Political Science Professor Taneisha N. Means who will discuss historical significance Ketanji Brown Jackson's Supreme Court confirmation, and the influential black judges that paved the path for her for like Thurgood Marshall, the first black Supreme Court justice, Constance Baker Motley, the first black female federal judge, and Jane Bolin of Poughkeepsie the first black female judge in America.
